 CONNECTING STUDENTS TO CAREERS

Allied Health: An Option for the Future

Allied Health is a modular curriculum for grades K-8 designed to introduce students to health careers. The curriculum was created to help students link classroom learning to their later life work, and can be used in conjunction with existing health or science classes or career center activities.

WWAHEC created the Allied Health curriculum in partnership with public schools in western Washington and local health care professionals. The project was made possible by a grant from the American Honda Foundation. The curriculum meets the learning requirements for science and health in the State of Washington and can be used in conjunction with existing health, science or career center activities.
