Continuing Education

 

Western Washington Area Health Education Center (WWAHEC) works with health sciences educational institutions, medical centers, agencies and professional associations to develop dynamic continuing education programs. We work to bring the newest information to professionals and community groups working in rural and medically underserved communities. We enable professionals to access information via telecommunication vehicles, including computer library network linkages, video programs, satellite and television programming.

MEDICAL

• DOH Health Systems Quality Assurance: Extensive information on CE requirements, license renewal for more than 70 health professions. Includes an alphabetical list of licensing requirements for professions and facilities.

• HealthStream: Online courses, CD-ROMs, live events.

• Optum Health Education: Online courses, CE events

DENTAL

• Dental Resource Net:  Crest provides free online CE courses, many formatted for Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs).

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
