Nursing scholarships available for Pierce County residents

The Pierce County Nurses Association has applications available for their nursing scholarships. Three different awards are available to residents of Pierce County. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2012.

  • Graduating high school students who plan to pursue a career in nursing are eligible to apply for a $500 award to help with their college expenses.
  • College students who have been accepted to a registered nursing program (2 or 4 years) may apply for one of two $1,000 scholarships.
  • The Florence Golda Scholarship is awarded to a registered nurse who is enrolled in a program to advance his/her nursing education. All Registered Nurses applying for the Florence Golda Scholarship (one award of $1,000) must be a PCNA member in good standing.
